Batchy for batch processing & automation

Build the graph once. Run it on every file.

Skip the custom scripts. Design and audition the processing in a visual graph, save it as a .batchyfx preset, then run the same preset in the desktop app or from the command line.

The example

The same preset, in the app and on the command line.

One .batchyfx file holds the whole job: the graph, every output and its delivery settings.

In the app

  1. Drop a folder of source files into Batchy.
  2. Load mastering_chain.batchyfx and audition any file.
  3. Select Process Batch. Every file renders to every output in the preset.

On the command line

./Batchy --batch-process \
  --input /audio/masters \
  --preset mastering_chain.batchyfx \
  --output-dir /audio/output \
  --output-format flac \
  --output-sample-rate 96000 \
  --output-bit-depth 24 \
  --normalization lufs \
  --target-loudness -14 \
  --progress

Every option is in the CLI documentation, including dry runs, render reports and per-output overrides.

Command line

Automation without the scripting.

How it works.

  1. 01 Build

    Design it visually.

Combine built-in DSP and your plugins in a simple chain or a branching graph.

  2. 02 Audition

    Check it on real files.

Switch between live and processed playback on any file before you run the batch.

  3. 03 Render

    Run it anywhere.

Render from the app, or call the CLI from your own scripts.

Before you buy.

Does Batchy have a command-line interface?

Yes. Batchy supports command-line batch processing with saved presets, input folders and output settings. See the CLI documentation for supported options and examples.

Does the command line use my plugins?

Yes. It loads the plugin list your desktop app scanned. Without that list, only the built-in processors are available.

Can I use my existing plugins?

Compatible VST3 plugins on macOS and Windows, plus AU on macOS. Third-party plugins are separately licensed.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Download Batchy and select Start 7-day free trial on the welcome screen or in Manage License. Email required to start; no payment required. Downloading does not start the trial. A paid license is required after seven days.

Will it run on my computer?

macOS 12+ on Intel or Apple Silicon, or Windows 10/11 (64-bit). One license covers two machines, on either platform.
