A batch-processing companion to your audio editor

Keep your editor. Process the whole folder in Batchy.

Record, cut and assemble in Audacity, Audition or WaveLab. Bring the prepared files into Batchy, build your processing chain once, and render every file to named outputs. Batchy does not record audio or provide timeline editing.

The example

The same job, two ways.

Editors may offer their own batch tools. This example compares manual file-by-file processing with Batchy’s saved graph workflow.

A manual file-by-file workflow

  1. Open a file.
  2. Apply EQ, compression and a limiter.
  3. Normalize it.
  4. Export it and name it.
  5. Repeat for every file in the folder.

Every step, for every file.

In Batchy

  1. Drop the whole folder in.
  2. Build the chain once, and audition it on any file.
  3. Render. Every file goes to every named output, each with its own loudness target and format.

One setup, one batch job.

Build · Audition · Render

How it works.

  1. 01 Build

    Build the treatment.

Combine built-in effects with your plugins. Branch the chain when a job needs more than one version.

  2. 02 Audition

    Hear it on any file.

Pick any file in the folder and switch between the live signal and the processed result.

  3. 03 Render

    Process the folder.

One batch job renders every file to every named output.
